4 athletes from Nepal are going to participate in the Malaysia Open International Taekwondo Tournament.

Kenish Khadka under 40 kg, Ayush Bohra under 56 kg, Govind Yonjan Tamang under 66 kg and Sandeep Basnet under 74 kg will compete in the tournament to be held on August 9 and 10 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Ayush will play in singles poomsae.

The 6-member Nepali team will go to Kuala Lumpur on Friday. Mahendraraj Ghimire is the head of the team and Srikrishna Khadka is the coach. National Sports Council Vice President Dhruv Acharya bid farewell to the team on Wednesday.
