Nepal's Ravindra Dhant has become the Matrix Fight Night (MFN) bantamweight champion after defeating his Indian competitor. On Saturday night in India, Ravindra defeated Indian champion Chunreng Koren and became the bantamweight champion. Ravindra is the first Nepali fighter to become the champion of MFN.
Dhanta, who is known for his aggressive fighting and wrestling in mixed martial arts (MMA), won the title by defeating Koren in the third round. When Koren was in crisis after continuous blows by Dhant, the referee stopped the fight and declared Rabindra the winner by TKO.
With this win, Ravindra's professional record has reached 8-1. Rabindra has put an end to Koren's five-time consecutive victory, who is the Indian champion. Known as 'The Indian Rhino' for his powerful wrestling and aggressive power, Koren tried to create pressure from the start but could not stand up to Ravindra's calm composure and skillful tactics.
After Rabindra's victory, the stadium was full of excitement. The Nepalese flag was hoisted on the pager. His supporters have expressed happiness on social media over the success of Rabindra from Bithadchir Rural Municipality of Bajhang. Prime Minister KP Oli also congratulated him through social media. Celebrities from various fields, including singer Rachna Rimal, praised her performance and congratulated her.
