The working committee of Nepal Nepal Athletics Association has been elected by re-electing Rajiv Vikram Shah as the president. All working committees, including chairman Shah, were elected unopposed in the general meeting held in the capital on Wednesday.
Shah, who is the minister of economic and planning affairs of Karnali province, has become the president of athletics for the third time.
6 people including Komal Wali have been elected as the vice president while Sanjiv Tuladhar has been elected as the general secretary. Radhakrishna Bista (RK) was elected as the secretary and Mohan Bahadur Ghale as the treasurer. The other vice presidents are Jagat Singh Dhami, Shailendra Khanal, Santosh Kumar Dhakal, Tejendra Thapa and Gaja Bahadur Gurung.
Similarly, Anju Chaudhary, Dil Bahadur Bam, Nandu Kaucha, Anirudra Kumar Chaudhary and Mohammad Jaul Haque, Shivlal Acharya and Padma Chaudhary have been elected.
A Shuggumaran, Secretary General of Asian Athletics Association (AAA) and CK Valson, member of the Competition Commission of AAA, participated in the international delegation.
