Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has instructed the leadership of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the National Sports Council to prepare efficiently and effectively so that the 10th National Sports Competition will be completed by next December.

In a discussion held at the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar, Prime Minister Oli instructed to immediately start preparations for the national sports competition to be held on the eve of the upcoming Asian Games in Japan in 2026. He asked that the date and venue of the competition should be decided only after thorough study and not changed after the decision.

Prime Minister Oli, who is also the patron of the council, emphasized the need for proper coordination between the ministry and the leadership of the council. In the

discussion, Minister of Youth and Sports Tejulal Chaudhary, Secretary of the Ministry Dr. Hariprasad Lamsal, Vice President of the Council Dhruv Acharya and Member Secretary Tanglal Ghising were also present.
