Nepalese athletes have won 8 gold and 2 silver medals in the World Budo Martial Arts Championship.

Pooja Khadka in women's 40 kg, Babita Karki in women's 55 kg and Rochak Bharti in men's 70 kg won double gold in the tournament held in Baku, Azerbaijan from July 8 to 12. According to Birkrishna Maharjan, coach of
