Dhangadhi-based Sudurpaschimchal Academy (SPA) has awarded 6-year full scholarship to two students studying in Class 11 under the Api Education Project.
The scholarship was given to the student of Darchula's Api Himal, Jakan Thekere and Sunil Bohra, a student of Chure rural municipality-1 Kailali. According to the academy, Reminiscence and Sunil will get all the educational facilities including accommodation, food, clothes, educational materials to study up to the graduation level. According to the academy, the project, sponsored by the trustees in Oxford, UK, was started to help students from rural and economically backward areas. During the
scholarship announcement program, trustee member Valerie Jones, who came to Nepal representing Trustee Chairman Christopher Walters, Aparna Gupta, the local partner and head of SPA's foreign affairs department, and Yograj Gautam Upadhyay, campus head of SPA College, signed the memorandum of understanding among the students studying in the college, professors and other guests.
