Nepal Karate Federation has honored provincial, national and international medal winners.
Arpan Thapa Magar, who participated in the 9th South Asian Karate Tournament-2025 in Colombo, Sri Lanka and won the gold medal, and Smriti Gurung, who won the bronze medal, were honored with certificates.
Arpan Thapa Magar of Shahid Lakhan Rural Municipality-7 won gold medal in 16-17 (76 kg) group. Similarly, Smriti Gurung won a bronze medal in the U-21 (68 kg) group. Similarly, bronze medalist Amrit Rana Magar, Anita Nepali, silver medalist Sujan Gurung, gold medalist Rupesh Guwaju, Srishti Shrestha have also been honored in the Gandaki state level competition. Bronze medalist Vasant Periyar was also honored in the national karate competition.
On the same occasion, Gyamzo Lama, who has been training in Nepal Sitorio Karate since 2052 in Gorkha district, was also honored. Lama was honored with a certificate of appreciation for his contribution in producing national and international players.
Gorkha Municipality Chief Krishna Rana Magar and Deputy Chief Masli Maya Thokar honored them with certificates of appreciation.
