Quality Kathmandu Schools (QKS) is going to hold the first QKS Inter-School Cricket Tournament in November.
The organizers informed on Tuesday that the QKS inter-school cricket will start from November 20 at Dhumbarahi Cricket Ground.
QKS is an organization made up of 32 schools in the valley. QKS President Dilip Ranamar said that if we work together, we can provide better education, Quality Kathmandu was established. He said that students will be provided with excellent opportunities in skills, teamwork and sports. President Ranamgar said that the participants of the
competition can include any student studying in their school in the team. Ravindra Gupta, technical director of the tournament, said that the
game will be of 10 overs and no one will be deprived from playing. 16 teams from schools under the KKS umbrella will participate. The participants will be divided into two groups and will be played on a Leaguecom knockout basis. Hari Lama of KKS said that along with the winner and runner-up, the best player, emerging player, best bowler and batter will be awarded in the tournament.
