Nepal's Sunil Khadka has set a Guinness World Record for the most clap pull-ups in one minute.
He did clap pull-ups 32 times and created a record in his name that was previously held by an American citizen. In 2015, America's Blake Austin set a record of 30 times.
In the press conference held on Tuesday in the capital, Sunil set the record under the calisthenics category. He said that it is a proud moment for Nepalis and the youth of Nepal are not weaker than the youth of any other country.
I found that no one has broken this record for 10 years. I only thought that I would try since I was in this area. However, I managed to bring the record to my name," he said. "Making a record was not my goal. But, my record showed that the youth of Nepal are inspired.'
25-year-old Sunil Pesale is an aerospace engineer. He said that the next goal is to become the champion in the Calisthenics World Championship and hoist the flag of Nepal.
