Nepal Premier League (NPL) franchise team Lumbini Lions has come with a new logo. The Lions believe that the logo is more than just a graphic symbol, it represents the team's history, spirit and national pride.

The previous logo of Lumbini Lions had a roaring lion. It includes the Mayadevi Temple, the birthplace of Buddha, the historic Ashoka Pillar established by Emperor Ashoka in 249 BC, the red color of Nepal's national flag, and the symbol of the moon and the sun against a roaring lion background.

President of Lumbini Ishwar GC said, 'This logo not only identifies the strength of our team on the cricket field, but also the pride of Lumbini. Born from Lumbini, the land of Buddha, this team roars on the field and introduces Nepal to the world. Lumbini Lions encapsulates sports, culture and national pride in one symbol.'
