The 5th Triyog Interschool Chess Tournament organized by Triyog High School started on Sunday. The school has informed that about 400 students from 60 schools participated in the competition, which was run in the Swiss League system, on the occasion of the International Chess Day.

Qualifying matches were held on the first day of the two-day program. The top 20 finishers in each event will play on the second day. Competitions A total of 8 competitions are included. Up to class 3, class 4 and 5, class 6 and 7 and class 8 to 10 male and female competitions are included. The competition was inaugurated by Ajit Lama, Chief Executive Officer of the school.
