As expected, the final match of the SAFF U-20 Women's Championship will decide the team that will win the title. Bangladesh and Nepal will face each other on Monday. Ahead of the final day's matches, Bangladesh are at the top with five wins from five matches.

Nepal is at 12 points. Nepal will have to beat Bangladesh in the final match if they want to win the title of the tournament which is being held in Dhaka, Bangladesh on the basis of double round robin. For Bangladesh to win the title, not only a win, but also a draw will be enough.

In the first match between these two, Bangladesh won 3-2. According to the rules of the competition, 'head to head' performance will be seen for the decision of the champion team. According to that, victory is the only option for Nepal. In other situations, the goal difference can also be decisive.

In the first match of the second final day, Nepal beat Bhutan 8-0 while Bangladesh won 5-0 over Sri Lanka. Purnima Rai and Meena Deuba scored a hat-trick from Nepal in the second ground of the Bashundhara Kings Arena. Samiksha Magar and Kusum Khatiwada also added one goal each.

Meena opened the scoring in the 44th second and scored in the 12th and 65th minutes. Purnima scored 23, in the first and sixth minutes of first half injury time. Samiksha's goal was possible in the ninth minute. Kusum scored in the 63rd minute.

Reacting after the game, Yam Gurung, the head coach of the Nepali team, said, "Our performance was disciplined. The match was difficult for both teams due to the weather, as it was very hot during the match. Perhaps it was more difficult for the Bhutanese players.

Coach Gurung expressed his happiness over the victory over Bhutan and pointed to the deciding game against Bangladesh, saying, "This will be a very important game for us. Before that, we will try to improve the weaknesses in the team. In the next game, we have to play very cautiously.'

Meena, who scored a hat-trick against Bhutan, was also happy with her performance. She said, "I didn't get a chance to play in the first match against Bhutan." This time I got it and scored a hat-trick, so I am very happy. Now in the game against Bangladesh, we have to play as one piece.'
