Sudurpaschim Royals has continued its partnership with Dhangadi-based SPA College for Nepal Premier League (NPL) Season 2. SPA, which was associated with Sudurpaschim Royals in the first season, has now said that this partnership will continue for two more seasons.
SPA managing director Subhash Shahi, who is also the chairman of Fapla International Cricket Stadium and Khelgram Infrastructure Development Committee in Dhangadhi, said that sports have a great potential to inspire the youth and said that the collaboration with Sudurpaschim Royals has given them an opportunity to help outside the classroom as well.
SPA College honored Far-West cricketers Sachin Bhatt and Sushil Rawal who contributed to win the ACC U-16 East Zone Cup held in Malaysia on behalf of the Nepal U-16 team. Sushil was selected in Far West through the talent hunt conducted in Season 1.
Prakash Khadka, chief executive officer of Sudurpaschim Royals, said that his team will continue to support Fapla International Cricket Stadium. SPA College is also running Far West Academy and SPA is promoting education and sports.
