The 13-member Nepali Sepaktakaro team, including 8 players, is going to Thailand on Saturday to participate in the 38th edition of the ISTF World Championship.

The players are Roshan Tamang (captain), Padam Bahadur Thada Magar, Sujan Thing, Rajan Nepali, Sanam Purja Pun and Mijas Lama. The female players include Sumitra Dangol and Niru Thapa Magar.

In the tournament to be held from July 22 to 28, Nepal will compete in Regu, Quadrant, Mix Quadrant and Huptakro competitions.

Netra Prasad Gurung is the official/manager, Akkal Tamang and Tek Bahadur Budhamgar are the coaches, Meghraj Tolangi is the referee and Nesir Maske is the ITO.

National Sports Council Member-Secretary Tanklal Ghising bid farewell to the team on Thursday.
