Khadak Warriors and Kanchanrup Rhinos have reached the semi-finals in the 7th Rajviraj Mayor Cup Saptari Pride League cricket tournament. On Tuesday, Kanchanrup defeated Hanumannagar Heroes by 4 wickets and Khadak defeated Royal Challengers Barhi Birpur by 8 wickets.
Kanchanrup completed the usual target of 38 runs in 8.4 overs in 6 wickets at the Public Vindeswari Mavi ground. Mahanand Yadav scored 14 runs with 2 fours and a six. Rakesh Kamat added 8 runs, Raunak Singh 6 and Riraj Sah 5 runs. Hanumannagar's Sanjan Baitha took the most 3 wickets, Gomanand Amatya took 2 wickets and Sanjeev Mandal took 1 wicket.
Before that, Hanumannagar, who had won the toss, scored 37 runs when they were all out in 10.3 overs. Kanchanrup's Shambhu Mandal and Abhimanyu Sardar took 4 wickets each. Player of the match Shambhu spent 22 runs in 4 overs while Sardar spent only 9 runs in 3 overs.
In the second match, Khadak completed the target of 122 runs given by Barhi Birpur by losing 2 wickets in 16 overs. Santosh Karki scored 63 runs and opener Firdosh Ansari scored 43 runs.
