Himalayan Chess Academy is going to conduct Rajendra KC Memorial Himalayan 100x2 Blitz Chess Tournament on Saturday.
According to the academy, 200 players will compete in it. According to the president of the academy, Monalisha Khambu, there is a prize of Rs 67,000 in 17 competitions, including the open one-day competition.
Rajendra KC, who is a member of Nepal Billiard, Snooker and Pool Association, is the former president of Bhotebahl Yuva Club. He passed away on June 25, 2077. His wife Vandana Khadka said that they are going to hold a chess competition in his memory as it will help in the intellectual development of the children as they become disciplined.
