The second Kathmandu Xavier's Public three by three basketball tournament will be held from Tuesday under the organization of Kathmandu Xavier's Public School.
RB Adhikari, founder principal of Kathmandu Xaviers, said in a press conference on Monday that 64 teams will participate in the competition. 24-24 teams in senior boys and junior boys and 16 teams in senior girls will compete on leaguecom knockout basis.
ECA in charge of Kathmandu Xaviers Khadg KC said that the winner of both groups will get 7,000 and the runner-up will get 5,000. Kathmandu Xavier's basketball coach Bikas Bote said that running the
tournament will cost around 350,000. The principal officer said that former student Sanjiv Magar, who is currently in Japan, sponsored it.
The games of the competition, which will last until Thursday, will be played on the host's court.
