After Akash Deep took 10 wickets in the Test, India defeated England by 336 runs in the second Test at Edgbaston on Sunday. With this, India has tied the 5-Test series 1-1.

  After resting Jasprit Bumrah, 28-year-old fast bowler Deep took 99 runs and took 6 wickets. England, who came with a huge target of 608 runs, were bowled out for 271 runs in the fifth and last day's match. Deep took 10 wickets with a total of 147 runs. Playing the eighth Test, Deep has performed his best bowling. 

Series draw by India Jamie Smith has been impressive for the second time in Tests. The wicketkeeper-batsman who scored 184 unbeaten runs in the first innings played 99 balls and hit 9 fours and 4 sixes.
