Kaski and Syangja have reached the finals of the Gandaki Province 2nd Women's T-20 Cricket Tournament. In the competition organized by the Provincial Cricket Association Gandaki, the teams that will reach the finals have been decided after the league stage matches are over on Friday.
In Pokhara, Syangja defeated Nawalpur by 8 wickets to reach the finals. Kaski topped and Syangja reached the finals by finishing second. Kaski went undefeated in 3 matches and managed to collect 6 points. Syangja had 2 wins. Nawalpur and Parbat remained at the bottom.
Syangja completed the target of 57 runs in 8.4 overs with the loss of 2 wickets. Salina Sen contributed 23 runs and Shreya Shah contributed 14 runs. Salina hit 2 fours and Shreya 1 four. Jyotsanika Marasini 5 and Simana KC remained not out for 0. Ayusha Chapagai and Liza Gurung took 1 wicket each from Nawalpur.
Before that, Nawalpur, who had lost the toss and batted, were bowled out for 56 runs in 15.3 overs. Apart from Dhankumari Chhetri, other batsmen could not score runs in double figures. In the next match, Kaski defeated Parbat by 95 runs. Having set a huge target of 124 runs, Parbat was bowled out for 28 runs. In 10.1 overs, none of Parbat's batsmen could score consecutive runs. Kaski's Sonima Pun Magar took 3 wickets and Yashoda Bhujel took 2 wickets.
Before that, Kaski, who won the toss, scored 123 runs after losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. Sijarna Paudel scored 41 runs. She hit 3 fours in 53 balls. Vinita Nepali scored 17 runs. Jeevika Chhetri took 3 wickets from Pavart, Pratibha Khadka and Sushila Bhattarai took 1 wicket each.
