Competition at a cost of 5 million, first prize 25 thousand!

The Madhesh state government is going to organize a Kabaddi tournament at a cost of 5 million. The Chief Minister Inter-Province Kabaddi Tournament is going to be held from Thursday.

Kabaddi teams from all seven provinces will participate in the tournament, which will be held until Saturday, according to the organizers.

Member-Secretary of Madhes Sports Council Shivji Prasad Kanu said that 84 players will participate at the rate of 12 from each province. According to him, this competition is important as it is a game that shows the originality of Madhes.

He claimed that since Madhes is an accessible place, if sports are added, more players can be produced as the wealth of the nation through sports.

However, only 25,000 cash prizes are given to the first winner of this competition, 20,000 to the second team and 15,000 to the third team. The players have objected to the prize money.

Member-Secretary Kanu of Madhes Sports Council said that the prize money is less because the procedure is too complicated. He said that during this level of competition, the first, second and third prizes are the same in the procedure. In addition to this, the players will get an allowance of 1200 to 1600 per day according to the procedure, he said.
