Former champions Nepal won their second consecutive victory in ACC Men's U-16 East Zone Cup Cricket on Tuesday. This victory was equally easy in the Group 'A' game. Nepal won comfortably by 9 wickets over Japan.

Shubham Khanal was the hero of Nepal's victory. He had an excellent performance of 5 wickets. With this victory, the chances of Nepal becoming the group winner and reaching the semi-finals have become stronger. Nepal defeated Singapore in their first match. The team has 4 points from 2 games.  The

defeat limited Japan to 2 points. In the match in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Nepal got a target of only 81 runs for victory. Nepal completed it by spending 14.2 overs losing one wicket. The famous Jaisi scored 33 runs off 37 balls. He hit 3 fours.

Before that, after winning the toss, Japan did not think much about batting first and the whole team could last only 34.4 overs against Nepal's sharp bowling. The team was all out after scoring 80 runs. Captain Charlie Harhinz scored 36 off 48 balls to reach double figures for Japan. He hit 4 fours. Cabby Harhinz scored 13 runs off 30 balls.

Shubham, who is the most successful Nepali bowler, took 5 wickets by spending only 15 runs in 10 overs. Japan, under constant pressure, had lost 5 wickets in 42 runs. Captain Charlie then tried to steer his team to some respectable scores. He was dismissed by Shubham when the team was in a position of 71 runs.
