Uma kungfu player Kamal Magar has been honored with cash in America. He has been honored for contributing to the development and expansion of Uma Kungfu in Nepal and for increasing Nepal's pride by winning medals in international competitions.

Senior lawyers Khagendra Gharti Chhetri, Siddharth Lama and others in America honored Kamal with 274,000 cash. Chhetri contributed 1 lakh 2 thousand 750 rupees and Lama contributed 68 thousand 500 rupees.

Kamal was awarded a cash amount along with a certificate at an event held at the Champion Martial Arts Club in New York.

Champion Martial Arts Club President Sunil Lama, gold winner of the 11th South Asian Games, said that Kamal's success has made Nepal more proud in the international world. He expressed his belief that Kamal's inspiring journey will be a guide for future generations.

4th Dan Kamal, a resident of Dudhkunda Municipality-10 in Solukhumbu, is active in the role of trainer and judge.

Kamal has won gold medals at the International Battle of Daytona (USA), European Championship (UK), WMAC Pandemic Games (Austria), 13th World Martial Arts Games (Croatia), 12th WMA World Championship (UK) and 7th World Kung Fu Championship, (Thailand).
