Manaslu and Warriors have won the title of the first LNA SEE Cup three by three basketball tournament. Manaslu became the champion in boys and warriors in girls.

Manaslu defeated NNA with a score of 21-17 in the boys final held at the host Laliguras National Academy (LNA) on Sunday.

In the girls' title match, the Warriors defeated NCCS by a score of 19-16. Ashwin Chalise of Manaslu in Boys and Prakriti Khadka of Warriors in Girls were declared Most Valuable Player.

The winners of both groups received 8,000 and the runners-up received 5,000. LNA's basketball coach Narayan Khawas said that 70 and 50 percent scholarships were also given to the winners and runners-up to study Plus 2 respectively. The

winner was awarded by Bikram Maharjan, a member of Ward 10 of Tarkeshwar Municipality, Gopal Budhathoki, Principal of LNA and President of Tarkeshwar Nagar Pabson, among others. In the two-day tournament, 12 teams in boys and 8 teams in girls competed on a league-come knockout basis.
