SBI Capital and NMB Capital won the futsal title of the 3rd MBAN Sports Meet.
In the competition held on Saturday organized by the Nepal Merchant Bankers Association, SBI became the winner for men and NMB for women.
SBI won the title by defeating Prabhu Capital in Dhanyanthari Futsal. The winner won 80,000. The runner-up got 40,000. SBI's Pujan Khadka was the top scorer with 13 goals. Prabhu's Hikmat Kunwar was the best player and SBI's Alok Sivakoti was the best goalkeeper. They got 10,000 people.
NMB won the women's futsal title by defeating Nepal Securities Board (Sebon) 2-1 in a penalty shootout. The winner got 50,000 and the runner-up got 25,000. Sebon's Nisha Thapa became the top scorer with 9 goals. Nisha Devkota is the best goalkeeper in NMB and Monisa Basnet became the best player. All three of them got 10,000 each.
Similarly, Pradeepraj Khanal of Global IME Capital won the men's table tennis. He defeated Paranjaya Nepal of NIMB Capital. On the women's side, Kalpana Pradhan of Siddharth Capital defeated Bina Adhikari of Global IME.
Parag Bishta of NIMB won the title for table tennis veterans. He defeated Anup Shakya of Kumari Capital.
CIT's Purushottam and Anil Basnet and Prabhu Capital's Prabhu Capital won the men's doubles. On the Vetran side, the pair of Ashok and Tulsi from Garima Capital won the title. President of Nepal Merchant Bankers Association Ramendra Rayamazhi presented the award to the winner.
