The host Laligurans National Academy (LNA) 'A' has reached the semi-finals of the first LNA SEE Cup three by three basketball tournament.
At the home court on Saturday, LNA 'A' defeated Canvas Basant Ritu by a score of 12-10. In the same competition, Lakhe defeated LNA 'B' 17-12, Manaslu defeated TBC 'B' 21-15 and Yakku defeated Balus Hood 18-16 to secure their place in the semi-finals. In the semi-finals, LNA 'A' will meet Lakhe and Manaslu will meet Yakku. In
girls, NCCS 'A' defeated Bowlers 12-10, Landmark defeated NCCS 'B' 11-9, Astro Blazers defeated Yakku 10-8 and Warrior defeated New Era 18-12 to secure their place in the semi-finals. NCCS 'A' and Landmark and Astro Blazers and Warriors will compete in the semi-finals. Bikram Maharjan, member of Ward 10 of Tarkeshwar Municipality, Gopal Budhathoki, Principal of LNA and Jogendra KC, Chairman of the School Management Committee jointly inaugurated the
competition. 12 boys and 8 girls teams are participating in the
two-day competition. Scholarships will also be awarded to the four finalist teams to study Plus Two at LNA.
