Karate Team to Siliguri to participate in Kata/Kumite Challenge

The Nepali karate team went to Siliguri on Saturday to participate in the Ultimate Kata/Kumite Challenge competition organized by the famous Martial Arts Academy of India, The Den.

For the challenge to be held on Sunday, among the Nepali karate athletes, Swanim Manandhar of men's single kata, Sanumaya Thing of women's kata and Alan Shrestha, Meen Bahadur Tamang, Rajeev Pudasaini will compete in men's 60 kg. In the

competition, Mandekaji Shrestha and Kushal Shrestha are the coaches. Tara Gurung is the referee and Furwa Lama is the manager. The team has been sponsored by Bhavna Lama of Nagesh Dojo.
