The organizer Kathmandu Metropolitan City-26 has won the title of Taekwondo on Friday under the comprehensive sports of Kathmandu district.

Ward 26 won the team champion trophy with 6 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze. Kathmandu Metropolitan City-11 came second with 4 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze in the competition held at the National Table Tennis Training Center in Lainchour.

Third place Tarkeshwar municipality won 2 gold, 4 silver and 6 bronze. The first prize was Rs 75,000, the second prize was Rs 50,000 and the third prize was Rs 25. Organizer Rohan Bhujel and Gongbuki Kritika Deula were the best players. Both of them got 10,000 each.

Women Under 36 kg Susandhya Khadka of Tukhya, Under 39 kg Sriyukta Lama of Ward 11, Under 46 kg Shardamaya Bamjan of Lainchour, Under 49 kg organizer Akriti Gurung, Under 42 kg Kriti Thapa Magar of Takeshwar, Under 24 kg organizer Alia Khatun, Under 27 kg Lisa Tamang of Ward 17, Under 31 kg Kritika Gongbuki Deula, Sumina Khadgi of the organizer under 52 kg and Samiksha Tamang of Balaju under 33 kg won gold.

259 players participated in the men's/women's 10-10 taekwondo competition. Earlier, table tennis and karate were completed. While Men's Futsal continues, one-day Kyokushin Karate will be held at the Table Tennis Training Center on Saturday.

Ward 5 and Tarkeshwar have reached the finals in men's futsal. Ward 5 defeated the host Kathmandu Metropolitan City 26 by 3-1 at Lainchour Sports Ground. Tarkeshwar won 1-0 over Ward 13. The final will be held on Saturday. The winner will get 150,000 and the runner-up will get 75,000.
