The first LNA SEE Cup three by three basketball tournament will be held from Saturday under the organization of Laligurans National Academy (LNA).
Jogendra KC, chairman of the school management committee, said in a press conference on Friday that 20 boys/girls teams will participate in the competition. Basketball coach Narayan Khawas said that the participation of 12 teams in boys and 8 teams in girls is confirmed. The boys team will be divided into 4 groups and the girls team will be divided into 2 groups and will be played on a league-com knockout basis.
The winner of both groups will receive 8,000 and the runner-up will receive 5,000 cash prizes. It is said that all four teams that reach the finals will be awarded scholarships to study Plus Two at LNA. According to the organizers, about 1 lakh 50 thousand rupees will be spent to conduct the
competition. The two-day tournament will be played on the court of the organizer.
