Football referee training has started in Hetaunda. Football referee training has started from Friday under the organization of Bagmati Province Sports Development Council. 41 people have participated in the training.
Mr. Meenakumari Lama, mayor of Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city, was the chief guest at the inauguration of the training under the chairmanship of Amrit Lungba, member of Bagmati Province Sports Development Council and program coordinator. Mayor Lama informed that the sub-metropolitan municipality is providing support for the infrastructure and competitions of all sports, including football, and said that the support will continue in the coming days.
She expressed her belief that this training will be fruitful in order to advance professionally in the role of a referee. Coaches Sachin Amatya, Rojin Shrestha, Birendra Pandey and Kalpana Sharma will facilitate the training. The course will have fitness test, practical and written exam. Amrit Lungba, a member of the Bagmati Province Sports Development Council and training coordinator, expressed his belief that more football referees will be produced after the course. He urged all the participants to pass the course saying that they will be eligible to play official football. In the opening of the
program, Tikaram Lama, President of Football Association Makwanpur and ANFA Central Member, Pratap Bista, Founder President of Bagmati Province Journalists Federation, Lavraj Thakuri, General Secretary of ANFA Bagmati Province, Rajkumar Moktan, District Sports Development Committee Chairman, Yuvraj Bholan, Vice President of ANFA Makwanpur, Balkrishna Adhikari, President of Journalists Federation Makwanpur, etc. were present as guests.
