The 'Asian Buddha T-10 Cricket Tournament' is going to be conducted from Saturday in the organization of Professional Masters-11 Cricket Club located in Bhairahwa, Rupandehi.
The organizers gave information about the competition by holding a press conference on Friday. 14 teams from district cricket clubs and academies will participate in the competition. The tournament will be conducted from Saturday to Monday at Siddharth Cricket Ground.
President of Rupandehi Cricket Association and Club Hari Bahadur Thapa said that the competition was organized with the aim of taking cricket to a higher level in the district. "The club has been supporting the development of players by organizing cricket tournaments since the past", he said, "We believe that this tournament will help in the development of cricket and the development of players in Rupandehi." President Thapa said that the winning team of the
competition will receive 80 cash and the runner-up will receive 40,000 cash along with trophies, medals and certificates. He said that the two teams that reach the semi-finals will be given 10,000 each in cash. "For the encouragement of the team and the players, this time we have also given prizes to the two teams that will reach the semi-finals", he said. According to
organizers, the Player of the Series will be awarded Rs 12,000 in cash, the Best Batter and Bowler will be awarded Rs 8,000 each, and the Player of the Man will be awarded Rs 1,200 in each match. A prize of Rs 2,500 will be awarded to the player who has the best catch and the most sixes and Rs 500 to the audience who catches a six from the audience.
