Nepal defeated Scotland by 2 wickets in the tri-national Twenty20 series on Tuesday in a 'low scoring' match. Nepal completed the small target of 98 runs at the Tetwood Cricket Ground in Glasgow with 1 ball to spare.
Compared to the previous day, the wicket was very difficult for batting. Nepal had hit only 7 fours . Scotland was also able to hit only 6 fours and 2 sixes. Nepal had to struggle a lot to reach the small goal.

Nepal was defeated by the Netherlands in three super over matches the previous day. Scotland defeated the Netherlands by 39 runs in the first match of the tournament on Sunday. Nepal will play the remaining two matches of the tournament against the Netherlands on Wednesday and Scotland on Friday.
This is the first match between Nepal and Scotland in Twenty20 International. In 2013, Scotland defeated Nepal by 8 wickets in the Twenty-20 World Cup Qualifier held in UAE. But at that time, Nepal had not received the international recognition of Twenty-20. In the same selection, Nepal reached the Twenty-20 World Cup for the first time after beating Scotland by 1 run in the group stage.
