The MIS Cup 2025 Games started on Tuesday at Modern Indian School. More than 600 students from 12 schools are participating in the four-day competition. They will compete in various events like cricket, table tennis, badminton, futsal, basketball and chess.
The hosts Modern Indian and DAV won the first day of cricket.
In senior Futsal, Modern Indian defeated Rye School 4-0. In the next match, Modern Indian drew 1-1 with VS Niketan. In juniors, DAV and VS Niketan played a goalless draw.
In basketball, Modern Indian defeated APF School Kirtipur by 34-13, Rai School defeated Newton by 20-11, IMS defeated KV by 34-19 and DAV defeated Alok by 29-13.
Ryan Nath and Ayush Kushwaha of MIS have reached the finals in U-15 boys badminton. Adit Gupta and K Sharma of MIS have reached the final in the U-17 boys final.
Principal of the organizing school, Raju Peter, said that organizing MIS Cup has provided a platform for students to compete and achieve excellent results.
