The Nepali team will play without the injured fast bowler Nandan Yadav. Basir Ahmed has been brought in his place. Devrehate also bats usefully as a spinner. Scotland have not made any changes from the team they played against the Netherlands.
In the Nepali team, Rohit, Kushal Bhurtel, Lokesh Bam, Anil Sah, Dipendra Singh Airi, Basir, Kiran Thagunna, Rupesh Singh, Karan KC, Sandeep Lamichhane and Lalit Rajvanshi are playing from the playing 11.
Nepal and Scotland are going to play for the first time in Twenty20 International. In 2013, Scotland defeated Nepal by 8 wickets in the Twenty20 World Cup Qualifier held in UAE. But Nepal had not yet received Twenty20 international recognition at that time. But in the same selection, after beating Scotland by 1 run in the group stage, Nepal reached the Twenty20 World Cup for the first time.
