Indira Parajuli of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-29, a table tennis veteran over 40 years of age, has won the gold medal in women's singles under Kathmandu district wide sports.

In the final held at the National Table Tennis Training Center in Lanchaur, Indira defeated Savita Basnet of her ward in straight sets 11-5, 11-2. Yakkan Pokharel of Kamanpa-29 and Deepa Shrestha of Kamanpa-30 came third.

In U-16 boys singles, Kirtipur's Jaysnu Maharjan defeated Kirtipur's Safal Maharjan by 11-2, 11-6, 11-9 and Kamanpa-2's Ujjwal Manandhar defeated Kamanpa-26's Aryan Shahi by 11-9, 11-9, 11-7 to secure the final. Nischal Thapa of Kamanpa-1 and Arnav Shrestha of Ward 26 reached the finals in U-14 boys singles.
