Aramb Sanskar Vidyalaya honored table tennis player Prajna Maharjan with cash on Monday.

72 students, including the school captain and the school leader, were appointed in various positions and were honored with Rs. 15,000.

Prajna won two medals in the South Asian Youth Table Tennis Tournament. The tournament organized by the All Nepal Table Tennis Association was held at the National Table Tennis Training Center in Lanchaur in Baisakh.

Prajna won silver medal in U-15 girls doubles and bronze medal in team event. Nepal won 1 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze medals in the competition.

Prajna is currently studying in class 6 on a full scholarship. Along with Prajna, Aaramb has also awarded full scholarships to table tennis players Nischal Thapa, Yamila Shrestha, Abha Pradhan and Divashri Shrestha. Prajna was honored by All Nepal Table Tennis Association President Vrijendra Bahadur Hamal, Arambah President Naresh Prasad Shrestha and Vice Principal Dinesh Shrestha.
