Dang's Alpha Taekwondo Dojang has won the first NTA National Team Gyorogi Championship trophy.

Alpha won the trophy after defeating Team Chitwan in the junior boys' final held at Nepal Taekwondo Academy in Satdobato on Monday. Vasant Bishta, Kamal Pariyar and Kamal Khadka's Alpha team defeated Krishna Bik, Raunak Raut and Saugat Sundas team Chitwan by 48-34 points . Team Dhading and Team Tarakeshwar won the third place .

Team Tararkeshwar won in junior girls . In a competitive match, Tarakeshwar defeated Fairless Dojang by 71-62 points . Sapna Rikham, Kritika Thapamagar and Sonia Tamang from Tarakeshwar and Anisha Magar, Lakshmi Tamang and Srishti Lama from Fairless competed. Yansu Dojang and Gorkhali Dojang won the third place .

Dhalko became the Dojang champion towards the cadet boys . Dhalco defeated Rashtriya Vibhuti Community Shikshasadan in the final. Nepal Tigers and Sitapaila Dojang won the third place . The Cadet Girls title was won by Rising Fighters . The

championship winner was awarded Rs 50,000 and the runner-up was awarded Rs 25,000.

President of Nepal Taekwondo Association Prakash Shamsher Rana presented the award to the winning player. For the first time, the

association has organized a team championship by including only Gyorogy category. The competition was conducted according to the rules of World Taekwondo Team Gyorogi . Four competitions were included in the competition, Cadet Girls/Boys Team in the age group of 12 to 14 years and Junior Girls/Boys Team in the age group of 15 to 17 years.
