Ekta's Keshari Chaudhary created a stir in the field event of athletics. From junior to senior she continued to break records one after another. He used to dominate in high jump, long jump and triple jump. Many national records are in Keshari's name. The same Keshari's 18-year-old record was broken by Anisha Tharu at the Dasharath Stadium on Friday.

The record-breaking event is the triple jump. At the 15th President's Running Shield Games, Anisha set a new junior record with a jump of 11.27 meters. Keshari's record in this event was 10.80m, which she had set in 2064. Anisha was not even born at that time. Anisha has just turned 16.

Coincidentally, their house is in the same municipality. That is Rapti Sonari Rural Municipality of Banke. The villages of both are adjacent to each other. Anisha, who grew up amidst Keshari's buzz, considered herself lucky to break his record.

Keshari Didi was very popular in the village too. He was making one record after another. That also inspired me. I feel lucky to break my sister's record today,' said Anisha, thankful to Keshari.

This is the third time that Anisha, who has been involved in sports since her seventh grade, has played in the President's Running Shield at the central level. She won the triple jump gold last year. The record could not be made. She returned after winning gold in the relay in the previous edition. She played those two editions from Lumbini region.

This year she represented the Bagmati region. Anisha studies at Laliguras National Academy in Manmanju in the capital. She is preparing for class 12 after finishing class 11. Because of that, she got an opportunity to play from Bagmati.
