Nepal's number one squash player Vipana Blown and number two Swasthani Shrestha will compete in the women's singles of the 13th NSRA National Squash Competition.
In the semi-finals of the tournament organized by the Nepal Squash Rackets Association, Vipana of Bagmati province defeated Samiksha Shrestha of Gandaki province 11-0, 11-4, 11-3 and Swasthani defeated Asmita Nagarkoti by 11-3, 11-5, 11-4. Earlier in the quarterfinals, Vipana beat Dolma Lama 11-4, 11-5, 11-1 and Swasthani beat Ransha Maharjan 11-5, 11-3, 12-10, Asmita Nagarkoti beat Sakshi Sunuwar 11-5, 11-7, 11-6 and Samiksha had defeated Apna Shrestha by 7-11, 6-11, 11-9, 11-5, 13-11.
Nepal's No. Arahant Keshar Singh has reached the men's singles final. Arhant of Bagmati defeated Nain Bahadur Magar in the semi-finals by 11-2, 11-3, 11-4. Before that, he defeated Helis Shrestha 11-6, 11-5, 11-5 and Nain Bahadur defeated Jan Ji 11-4, 11-4 and 11-4. Arahant will play either Deepak Thapa or Pasang Blon in the final. In the quarterfinals, Deepak defeated Avan Shrestha by 11-3, 11-4, 11-7, Pasang defeated Suryakumar Rai by 11-5, 11-9, 11-8.
