The Nepali tennis team is going to Colombo, Sri Lanka on Friday to participate in the Willie Jean King Cup tennis.

Abhilasha Bista, Shivali Gurung, Sunira Thapa and Swastika Bista will participate in the competition which will be held from June 16 to 20. 9 countries including Nepal will participate in the

group 3 competition. 9 nations will be divided into 2 groups. The first among the competing nations will enter Group 2. There will be 2 singles and 1 doubles match in this team competition.

official is Ajay Bista and coach is Krishnaraj Ghale. Member-Secretary of National Sports Council (Rakhep) Tanklal Ghising, Coordinator of Nepal Tennis Association Ad Hoc Committee Manohardas Mull bid farewell to the team on Thursday.
