Under the 15th Central President's Running Games, Pratham Manandhar of Bagmati and Manisha Khadka of Lumbini have won gold in single kata male and female karate. Gyanendra Sunar of Karnali bagged silver and Basant Periyar of Gandaki and Sachit Karmacharya of Lumbini bagged bronze in students. In girls, Arya Shrestha from Bagmati won silver and Manisha Gurung from Gandaki and Ritika Luhar from Sudurpaschim won bronze.
Prince Shah of Madhesh, a student at the karate hall in Satdobato, became the first under 47 kg. He defeated Chhatra Thapa of Sudurpaschim in the final. Bagmati's Milan Magar and Karnali's Narendra Adhikari got bronze.

Bagmati Province has won 5 golds out of 10 golds on the first day of Taekwondo on Thursday. Sudurpaschim won 3 golds, Karnali and Madhesh won 1 each. There are 12 events in Taekwondo and the finals of 2 events will be held on Friday.
student Vishalraj Bhatt of Far West under 52 kg became the first. He defeated Madhesh's Asif Hussain Ansari in the final. In the under 48 kg final, Karnali's Nishant Pyakurel won the gold by defeating Gandaki's Tajin Budhathoki.
Students Karan Dholi from Bagmati under 51 kg won gold by defeating Samar Nepali from Madhesh and Ajay J.C. from Gandaki and Krishna Vick from Bagmati under 45 kg. Student Sonia Tamang of Bagmati under 46 kg beat Karuna Budha of Karnali, Deepa Jaisi of Sudurpaschim under 44 kg Sonim Bhattarai of Koshi, Sushmita Bist of Sudurpaschim under 49 kg Deepika Karki of Lumbini and Salina Yadav of Madhesh under 42 kg won the gold by defeating Kalpana Pandey of Koshi in the final.
Bagmati's Biswas Tamang won the gold in single pumice boys and Bagmati's Sargam Thapa won the gold in the women's category in the Taekwondo Academy Hall in Satdobato. Biswas beat Gandaki's Sachin Vishwakarma and Sargam beat Gandaki's Pratishka Rana.
