Bagmati province has won gold in the men's team event of the 13th NSRA National Squash Tournament. A day ago, Bagmati also became the champion in the women's team event. In the women's team event, Gandaki Province was the runner-up and Koshi and Karnali Province were joint third.

Bagmati beat Koshi Pradesh 3-0 in the men's team event final. Arhantkeshar Singh defeated Nain Bahadur Magar by 11-2, 11-3, 11-5, Pasang Blown defeated Suryakumar Rai by 11-3, 11-4, 11-6 and Rakesh Pariyar defeated Khemraj Rai by 11-4, 11-5, 11-3 to become Bagmati champions. Bagmati team also had Prajwal Pradhan and Koshi Shakti Limbu.

Sudip Bahadur Sih, Gaurav Katwal, Yam Rana and Gyanu Chaudhary from Lumbini Province and Deepak Thapa, Hesil Ghising, Sanjeev Thapa Magar and Krish Shrestha team from Madhesh Province came in third place.

In the competition being held at the squash hall in Satdobato, the individual competition has also started on Thursday. Nepal's number one Arahant, who got a bye in the first round, defeated Karnali's Himal Ji by 11-1, 11-2, 11-2 and qualified for the quarterfinals. Suryakumar Rai of Koshi also defeated Prajwal of Bagmati by 11-9, 5-11, 11-5 and 11-7 to reach the last eight.
