Koshi state level open basketball will be held from June 5 in Dharan sub-metropolitan city. Only teams from Koshi will be allowed to participate in the tournament which will be held at the basketball court of Depo Adarsh Multipurpose Campus located in Dharan-18 till June 8.
Dharan Basketball Association held a press conference in Dharan on Tuesday, coordinator Vikas Chamling said that the tournament was held to promote basketball in Koshi province and promote basketball professionally. President of Sunsari Basketball Association Narayan Subedi said that teams from Sunsari, Jhapa, Morang, Dhankuta, Ilam, Okhaldhunga, Udaipur, Bhojpur will participate. The winner will win a prize of Rs 2 lakh and the runner-up will win Rs 1 lakh.
