After Bhutan, Laos is another favorite rival for the Nepalese national football team. This is a team against which Nepal has yet to face a defeat. There have been 6 matches between Nepal and Laos so far. Out of that, Nepal has won in four and tied in two. One of those wins came in a tiebreaker.

Nepal is facing this Laos team in the third round of AFC Asia Cup qualifiers on Tuesday. This will be an opportunity to dominate this opponent again and again. The game will be played at the Lao National Stadium in Valentine, the capital of Laos. The match will start at 6:30 pm according to Nepali time. This will be Nepal's second match in the third round selection.

Earlier, Nepal was defeated against Malaysia. In this case, the victory against Laos will bring back the 'feel good' factor in the Nepalese team. In case of defeat, Nepal is sure to be shocked. Vietnam is also in group 'F' which includes Nepal.

Vietnam is the strongest team in the group. Only one team will enter the 2027 Asia Cup.

Vietnam is a strong and natural candidate. The goal of the remaining three teams will be to perform as well as possible. Despite this, Matt Ross, the coach of the Nepali team, believes that the Nepali team should maintain its fight until the end. Meanwhile, his new response is, "My real test will be against Laos." Since Ross took over as the head coach of the Nepali team, his performance so far has been promising. Nepal has played three times under his leadership. It has one win, one draw and one loss. The defeat is against Malaya. A win against Singapore and a draw against Hong Kong in friendly matches should give Ross himself a boost.

He says, 'Our goal is to defeat Laos. Even in the match against Malaysia, our performance was not too bad, but tactically we were weak. We didn't have enough time to prepare for it. I may be wrong in this too. Now, after the match against Singapore, we have solved this problem to a large extent.'' In the current team, our attack is good, the defense line is also strong. "The goalkeeping is excellent," he says, "We have to keep improving our performance." Coach Ross plans to collect a total of 13 points in the qualifiers.

Captain Kiran Limbu, who was in good form against Singapore and Hong Kong, says, 'We are not in favor of considering any team as weak. We respect everyone. I heard there are a lot of changes in the Laos team now. We have also analyzed their game. Of course our goal will be victory.'
