Krishi Bikas Bank reached a double title on Tuesday in futsal under the 14th staff sports competition. Both men's and women's teams of agricultural development reached the finals.
In the men's semi-final held at the Grandi Sports Centre, Krishi defeated Nepal Airlines Corporation by 1-0 goals. In the final, Krishi will meet Nepal Civil Aviation Authority 'A'. In the other semi-final, Civil Aviation defeated Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Limited by 2-1.
In women's competition organized by Staff Sports Institute of Nepal (ISAN), Agricultural Development Bank reached the finals by being top in the round robin league with 5 teams participating. With 3 wins and 1 draw, Krishi added 10 points.
Krishi will compete against Nepal Bank for the title. Nepal Bank, which scored 8 points, became the runner-up and reached the finals. Nepal Bank got 2 wins and 2 draws. The final will be held on Wednesday.
The top three position winners in men will receive cash prizes of 55,000, 33,000 and 22,000 respectively. The women's winner will get 30,000 and the runner-up will get 20,000.
