Nepali professional tennis player Abhishek Bastola has been defeated in Kings Guam World Tennis Tour.

He, who got a wild card, lost the match 2-1 in the last 32 match of the men's singles match against Australian rival Ashton McLeod in the ITF Men's World Tennis Tour. After losing the first set 6-2, Abhishek came back to win the second set 6-4. In the third and decisive set, he competed until the tiebreaker and lost the set 7-6 (10-8) and surrendered the match to the opponent. Abhishek struggled on the court for 4 hours and 30 minutes.

The prize money of the hard court tournament, which runs until June 15 at the Guam National Tennis Center, is $15,000.
