Carlos Alcarez has won the men's singles title of the French Open 2025 on Sunday, presenting an example of a great comeback. He shocked Yannick Siner by saving himself from two sets behind and three championship points.

Defending champion Alcarez defeated the world number 1 4-6, 6-7 (4/7), 6-4, 7-6 (7/3) and 7-6 (10/2) in the final at Roland Garros. This is the fifth Grand Slam title won by Spanish player Alcarez.

He has won all five Grand Slam finals he has played so far. At the same time, he has also put a complete stop to the unbeaten journey of 20 matches in Sinner's Grand Slam. "None of the games I've played in my career have been as exciting as this one," said the 22-year-old Alcarez after the win.
