Julius and Santoshi Champion

Santoshi Shrestha, the winner of Kantipur Half Marathon won the title of Nepal Heritage 25 on Saturday. Julius Muruyuki of Kenya won the men's title. Julius was second in the Kantipur Half Marathon held last Saturday.

Santoshi completed the 25 km race starting from Dasharath Stadium in 1 hour 31 minutes 43 seconds. Army's Nisha Sarki came second. She clocked 1 hour 32 minutes 31 seconds. Dhavika Pushpa Bhandari of APF finished third with a time of 1 hour 38 minutes 09 seconds. Pushpa was also third in Kantipur.

On the men's side, Julius covered the distance in 1 hour 16 minutes 48 seconds. Army's Vinod Rokaya finished second with a time of 1 hour 17 minutes 11 seconds. Sushil KC finished third with a time of 1 hour 18 minutes 51 seconds. 

The winner of both male and female categories received Rs 1 lakh, second runner-up Rs 50,000 and third runner-up Rs 25,000.

Ajay Pandey became the first in 5 km U-18 Boys with a time of 17 minutes and 12 seconds. Sandeep Century was second and Amrit Vishwakarma third. 21 minutes 47 in girls. Asmita Bhujel became the first by 66 seconds. Bhagwati Khadka came second and Ayushma Acharya came third. 

Dharma Maharjan came first in the 5km veteran men's race. Lopsang Tamang was second and Ramchandra Shrestha was third. Among women, Sharmila Basnet, Kalpana Maharjan and Keshari Thapa Magar won the top three positions. The winner on both sides received Rs 10,000, second runner-up Rs 6,000 and third runner-up Rs 3,000.
