American player Coca Gough won the French Open 2025 women's singles title on Saturday. She defeated Belarus' No. 1 Arian Sabalenka in a three-set match in the final at Roland Garros.
After losing the first set, the 21-year-old Gough made a brilliant comeback and won the match 6-7 (7/5), 6-2 and 6-4. This is the first time he has won the French Open title.
This is the second time Gough has won the Grand Slam title overall. Earlier she won the US Open in 2023.
