Hong Kong and Nepal played a goalless draw in an international friendly match on Thursday. In the match at So Kon Po's Hong Kong Stadium, both teams could not weave a clear decisive attack.
Forward Sreejanraj Gautam made his debut for Nepal in this game. He entered the field in the second half as a substitute player.
Nepal will now face Laos in Asia Cup qualifiers on Tuesday, June 10. This selection will be the match of group 'F' of the third stage. Nepal has gone on a tour to Hong Kong as a preparation for the same match.
This is only the second international match between these two teams. Earlier in 1988, Nepal faced Hong Kong in the Asia Cup qualifying match in Kathmandu and that match also ended in a goalless draw.
