As there are two federations of usu game in Nepal, the national players of usu are in trouble. The participation of Nepalese players in the upcoming Asia Cup Usu Championship has become uncertain.

USU players Deepak Hamal and Shiv Silwal were selected for the championship to be held in China from July 2 to 7. But due to the dispute between the two federations, their participation has not been confirmed.

5 players including them held a press conference the previous day and complained that they did not get 'entry' to play in other international competitions because they could not pay the amount to be paid to the host Japan Usu Federation when they played the third Thaulu Usu World Cup held in Japan last October.

The nationally recognized Nepal Usu Federation has given a clarification from a press conference on Thursday that the players could not play due to the negligence of the internationally recognized Nepal Usu Federation.

General Secretary of Usu Federation Navraj Dhungana said that the International Usu Federation did not give entry to Nepal for other competitions after the internationally recognized association did not pay the expenses for the third Thaulu Usu World Cup held in Japan.

The Japan Usu Federation has sent us a letter that owes 7,280 US dollars. If the amount is not paid on time, Nepali Usu will be blacklisted by the International Usu Federation," Dhungana said.

The internationally recognized USU Federation under the leadership of Lakpa Lama made Nepali players participate in the competition. Deepak Hamal, Vijay Sinjali, Pasang Sherpa, Rajeev Tamang and Nima Ghartimar participated in it. Vijay also won a historic bronze medal.

The Nepali team with 14 players participated in the World Cup Qualifier held in China last year. Based on their performances in the same tournament, 5 players from Nepal were selected for the Thaulu World Cup.

According to the National Sports Council, the payment process of the food and accommodation expenses of the players during the World Cup participation went ahead and the players went to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and it was stopped.

Shailesh Karmacharya, president of the nationally recognized USU Federation, says that the state is ready to pay the expenses of the players. But he insists that the money going through the state fund should be through his official federation. But international coordination is with another Usu Federation. It is considered illegal by the government. As a result, the future of international participation of that player is in doubt.
